Fadna launches Cinnamon Tea at Anuga International Food Fair

Food and Nature (Pvt) Ltd., a leading marketer of herbal and green tea in Sri Lanka, launched its new tea variety Cinnamon at the Anuga International Food Fair in Cologne, Germany in October.
The launch was held in conjunction with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB).
Anuga is the world’s biggest food and beverage trade fair which is held once in two years.
It is considered as the world most important trade show for the food and beverage trade where the exporters can find new markets and target groups, all trends and themes, thousands of inspirations, ideas and innovations.
Anuga also makes a platform to meet the leading decision makers from the trade and the food service and catering market from Germany and abroad.

FADNA Diabe Tea the producers of Food and Nature (Pvt) Ltd presented a social programme titled “FADNA Arunella” together with the Ministry of Health and the Oasis Hospital. The main purpose of the programme was to convey the message “Managing Diabetics” in the society targeting on the opinion leaders to make a leading awareness. The third of this all-island event was successfully held at the Ministry of Labour recently.
Recognizing the requirement, it was a national concern to launch programmes to eliminate the identified causes which are preventing healthiness of the general public. Hence, the participants to the clinic were examined by qualified medical practitioners, with free testing on height, weight, blood sugar level and hypertension. Medical advice was given free to any diabetic patient and to those who were prone to the ailment through high caliber resource personnel.

The initial step for this All Island Event was successfully launched on Saturday the 21st May at the Vajiragnana Temple Premises Maharagama.
